Does Medicare cover the cost of the Test?
Unfortunately, Medicare does not cover the cost of the test.
Can I pay by Credit Card or PayPal?
Yes, this can be done via the Test Requisition Form, or on line through our secure web portal.
What sample is required?
A simple cheek swab.
How long does the test take?
Results will be available within 5-7 business days from sample receipt into our laboratory.
How can I get a sample collection pack, if my doctor doesn’t have one?
You will receive a collection pack when you pay for the test on line through our secure portal.
Will I receive the results?
For the Amplis – Mental Health Test, all results will go to your nominated medical practitioner within 5-7 business days.
How will my doctor use the test results?
Your doctor will review the test results in an effort to find better medications and doses for you.
Is the test suitable for other family members?
Yes.
Is there an age limit for the test?
No. For anyone under the age of 18 years of age, we require consent from a parent or a legal guardian.
